Will Gerwig BOMB?

Well, the Academy Awards are done; nobody needs to hear more about that. So now our focus shifts to summer releases. July 21st, 2023, will see an unlikely box office battle: Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer versus Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. Personally, I cannot wait.

Chris is no stranger to success, having produced 11 Oscars and 36 nominations with his prior films, earning more than $5 billion at the global box office. Overall, Greta is revered as a talented and accomplished artist with a unique voice and perspective that resonates with audiences and critics alike. This is perhaps the oddest cinema clash in years.

Oppenheimer should be a home run. Barbie is more intriguing. Is GG jeopardizing her credibility? She’s got something special up her sleeve, right?

RIGHT?

Expect more bomb puns in either case.
